Brother MFC-J625DW Printer Review

We were surprised to find that the lesser MFC-J425W model did not contain any memory card ports? Fortunately the same cannot be said for the new Brother MFC-J625DW printer, as it includes a media card centre and a USB PictBridge port! Other advantages over the cheaper model are double sided printing, slightly faster printing, higher scanner resolution, LCD with touch screen, and an additional 20 sheet photo tray.

The Brother MFC-J625DW seems to be extremely well equipped to cope with most home and small office demands. The specification reads well, and we were not disappointed by its performance either! The only concern we have is the initial purchase price which is more expensive than comparable Canon and Epson machines. Fortunately you get what you pay for; faster and quieter printing with lower running costs when using compatible cartridges. For those reasons, plus its attractive design and features, the Brother MFC-J625WD offers a good common-sense printing solution to the moderate to heavy printer user.
